The challenge of the circular economy

Generating sustainable innovation is the challenge that SACMI has faced by becoming a protagonist of the circular economy, with solutions aimed at containing the consumption of raw materials and energy, new technologies and prototypes made possible by the extensive knowledge of materials and processes. Furthermore, the investments made in recent years have made it possible to greatly reduce the environmental impact of production activities, containing emissions into the atmosphere, reducing water consumption and optimizing the waste management cycle.

Community and territory

Always oriented towards a synergistic relationship with its territory, SACMI has allocated, for projects supporting the local community, more than 2 million euros since 2018, focused in particular on supporting interventions and projects in the health and education sector, supporting institutions, schools, hospitals in the area. Improvement through training and support for the provision of essential personal care and protection services are the mission that SACMI takes back, from the local dimension, to the large global community in which the company operates, accompanying the numerous associations in our territory that operate all over the world, in direct contact with the most difficult realities.

Sustainability and Social Responsibility

In 2019, SACMI celebrated 100 years of history, a milestone based on solid roots and, at the same time, on a constant look to the future, a development perspective that sees sustainability as a founding principle in line with the values of the origins: ethics, respect, integrity, mutuality, alongside a passion for quality, innovation and customer service. From this point of view, for SACMI, Corporate Social Responsibility becomes synonymous with the creation of value, which is truly such as it is responsible and sustainable, respectful of economic balance, the environment and human relations.
